If you're returning to the UK from a country not on the government’s travel corridor list, you'll need to self-isolate and not leave your home for ten days – unless you take a private COVID-19 test. This must be at least five days after arrival. This is known as the Test to Release scheme.
If you arrive from a country that is on the Gov.uk banned list during the last 10 days you must complete a passenger locator form and self-isolate along with members of your household. You cannot be released early through the Test to Release Scheme.
